This page is maintained by Larry Bell to answer common security and privacy questions about Project Compass. It describes the platform capabilities we rely on and our current practices; it is not an independent certification or audit report.
Authentication & access
Project Compass uses the managed authentication service provided by Lovable Cloud. Accounts are protected by industry-standard password hashing and support for secure sign-in options such as magic links and OAuth providers (where enabled).
Access to project data is scoped to your account. We do not share credentials, and we encourage the use of strong, unique passwords and any available multi-factor authentication options.
Platform & hosting
Project Compass is built on the Lovable platform, which provides managed hosting, serverless functions, and a PostgreSQL database. The platform handles infrastructure patching, TLS encryption for data in transit, and encrypted storage for data at rest.
Application-level security — such as access controls, data handling choices, and user-facing features — is the responsibility of Larry Bell as the app owner.

If you discover a security issue or have a question about our security practices, please reach out directly. We review good-faith reports promptly and work with reporters to resolve issues responsibly.
